Lyon Crush Paris FC 7-1 as Dumornay Shines and Hegerberg Hits Hat-Trick

Lyon crushed Paris FC 7-1 in Division 1 Féminine, with Melchie Dumornay putting in a near-perfect display and substitute Ada Hegerberg scoring a hat-trick in just half an hour.

The game was fairly even at the break, with Lyon leading 2-0 through goals from Marie-Antoinette Katoto and Dumornay. But the home side ran away with it after halftime. Katoto added a third, then Hegerberg came off the bench and scored twice in eight minutes, both set up by Dumornay. Paris FC pulled one back through Clara Matéo, but Dumornay wrapped things up with a penalty before Hegerberg completed her hat-trick deep into stoppage time.

Dumornay finished with two goals and two assists and picked up a perfect 10 rating, easily the best on the pitch. Fans agreed, voting her player of the match too. Lyon dominated possession and territory throughout, while Paris FC had some good moments, especially in transition, but just couldn't keep up with the quality on show.
