Rabiot's Milan Future Set to Be Secured With New Deal Until 2030

AC Milan are getting ready to hand midfielder Adrien Rabiot a new long-term contract that would keep him at the club until 2030, with owner Gerry Cardinale set to personally take charge of negotiations in October.

According to Gazzetta, Milan want to secure Rabiot's future for the long haul, and given he turns 32 in April, this extension would effectively see him finish out the top level of his career at San Siro. Cardinale has made the deal a priority and plans to get involved directly once he returns to Milan next month.

Rabiot himself has made no secret of how happy he is at the club, which has helped push the renewal to the top of the agenda.

"I never thought about leaving Milan; I'm happy here," he said publicly. That contentment has shown on the pitch too, with Rabiot celebrating enthusiastically after scoring against both Torino and Lecce this season.

He has also proven himself flexible tactically, capable of playing as a holding midfielder, a deep lying playmaker, or in a role just behind the striker, making him an important link between defence and attack for Milan.

Rabiot's move to San Siro came cheap, joining from Marseille for just €7million on September 1, 2025, with Max Allegri's presence at the club playing a part in getting the deal done. That transfer followed an incident at Marseille involving former teammate Jonathan Rowe, which saw then coach Roberto De Zerbi drop both players from the squad. Milan moved quickly to take advantage, having already watched Rabiot join Marseille on a free transfer after leaving Juventus.

In his first season at the club, Rabiot missed just seven Serie A matches through injury and suspension. In the 29 games he did play, he started every single one and was never substituted before full time.
