Saturday Transfer News Roundup: Sancho Waits, Juventus Plan Rebuild and Barcelona Track Tresoldi as Man Utd and Chelsea Target Benfica Star

Jadon Sancho is ready to wait until January for the right club, while Manchester United and Chelsea are watching Benfica defender Tomas Araujo, according to the latest transfer rumors from MatchHeadlines.

TEAMtalk reports that Sancho, 26, will hold out as a free agent if the right offer does not come before then. The former Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund winger left Old Trafford when his contract ended in the summer. He has been linked with plenty of clubs since, but nothing has moved forward.

TEAMtalk also says Manchester United and Chelsea are the keenest on Araujo, 24, who can play at center back or right back. He recently signed a deal with Benfica until 2031, so a January exit looks unlikely. His release clause is £68 million, though, so clubs could still go for him.

Tuttosport says Juventus are planning a big rebuild over the next year. They like Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker, who could be a free agent at the end of the season. In defense they are looking at Udinese's Oumar Solet, RB Leipzig's David Raum and Crystal Palace's Tyrick Mitchell. In midfield, the names are Napoli's Stanislav Lobotka, Manchester City's Mateo Kovacic and Real Madrid's Brahim Diaz. Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta could come in up front.

Sport reports that Joao Felix wants to return to Barcelona when his Al Nassr contract ends next year. The 27-year-old wants to get back to the Champions League after a strong run in Saudi Arabia. He had a loan year at Barcelona from Atletico Madrid, with 10 goals and six assists in 44 games. The report says he is not a priority for the club.

La Gazzetta dello Sport says Juventus see Kenan Yildiz and Kerim Alajbegovic as "untouchable." Yildiz, 21, has drawn interest from Arsenal and Real Madrid, and he will be out until December with an injury. Alajbegovic, 19, joined from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer, and Chelsea may be interested in the future.

Inter Milan still like Leeds defender Tarik Muharemovic, 23, and Barcelona are also watching him, says TEAMtalk.

Ekrem Konur reports that Arsenal are tracking Bournemouth forward Junior Kroupi, with PSG also following. Kroupi is working his way back from an injury that has kept him out this season.

Manchester United will open talks with Luke Shaw about a new deal, as the left back has 12 months left on his contract, per Konur.

Fabrizio Romano says Bologna will sign Matteo Darmian on a one-year free deal after an injury to Emil Holm.

Nicolo Schira reports Bologna also plan to extend Federico Bernardeschi, 32, who is entering the last year of his deal. Schira adds that Riyad Mahrez, 35, is close to joining Qatari side Al Shamal as a free agent after leaving Al Ahli in the summer.

Caught Offside says Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea will battle for Como defender Jacobo Ramon, 21.

Football Insider says Gilberto Mora, 17, would prefer La Liga to the Premier League, with Liverpool, Barcelona and Real Madrid all interested.

Calciomercato says Inter Milan, Lazio and Atalanta like Liverpool forward Federico Chiesa, 28, who is ready to leave in January.

TEAMtalk says Arsenal can afford Erling Haaland, 26, but he is more likely to join Barcelona.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Juventus still want Brentford right back Michael Kayode, 22.

Caught Offside says Dani Olmo, 28, does not want to leave Barcelona despite links with Arsenal, Chelsea and Saudi clubs.

TEAMtalk reports that Tottenham and Liverpool are watching Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma, 29, who is out of contract next summer.

Sport says Barcelona are tracking Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi, 22.

Finally, the Express reports that Pep Guardiola plans to attend Manchester City's Champions League game against Paris Saint-Germain on October 14 to show support for his former club.
