Nottingham Forest Sign Daniel Munoz from Crystal Palace

Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Colombia right-back Daniel Munoz from Crystal Palace in a £22m deal, reuniting him with manager Oliver Glasner at the City Ground.

Munoz has signed a three-year contract after spending the last two and a half years at Selhurst Park, where he scored 11 goals in 109 appearances. During that time, he won the FA Cup and Conference League alongside Glasner, as well as the Community Shield in 2025.

He becomes Forest's second major signing of the window, following the £50m club-record arrival of Liam Delap, and could make his debut against Tottenham in the Premier League on Saturday.

Speaking after the move was confirmed, Munoz said he was excited to join a squad with strong talent and quality, and that he's looking forward to helping his new teammates achieve big things. He pointed to Forest's recent progress, including reaching the Europa League semi-finals, as a sign of the club's ambition, adding that this was a major factor in his decision to sign.

Forest's chief football officer, George Syrianos, said Munoz has shown strong performances in both the Premier League and European competition, and that the club believes he has the mentality and drive to make a real impact.

The signing comes after a mixed start to the season for Forest, who lost their opening two games in the Premier League and Carabao Cup to Leeds United before earning a 2-2 draw away at Liverpool on Saturday.
