China Striker Huang Warns Nigeria's Falconets Will Be a Tough Test

China PR's Jiaxin Huang says she's already looking ahead to a difficult clash with Nigeria, and she's not taking the Falconets lightly at all.

The teenage striker just had herself a night to remember, scoring a hat-trick in just 12 minutes to power China to a 5-0 group-stage win over New Caledonia at the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Poland. She walked away with the Visa Player of the Match award for her efforts, but her mind quickly turned to what's coming next.

Speaking to FIFA.com, Huang admitted that facing Nigeria on Thursday will be no easy outing.

"I am very excited to help the team win the match. It is an honour to be top of the goalscoring standings, and I am very happy to be the first player to score a hat-trick in this competition," she said.

She didn't shy away from talking about her own ambitions either. "Of course [I would like to win the Golden Boot award]," Huang said. "We now need to focus on our next match against Nigeria, which will be a tough game."

The Group F clash pits China against a Nigerian side that has already been described as an African powerhouse, and one that will be eager to bounce back after opening the tournament with a 2-0 loss to Spain.

For China, there's extra motivation heading into this game. The team has come close to glory before, finishing as runners-up twice, back in 2004 and again in 2006, and they'll be hoping this new generation can go one step further this time around.
