'F****** Disgrace, I Have No Words!' - Amad Diallo's X-Rated Rant Exposes Growing Man Utd Unrest After Atletico Madrid Defeat

Manchester United lost 2-0 to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday, and the defeat has sparked public anger from several players, including an X-rated outburst from Amad Diallo and a sharp attack on the club's bosses from Lisandro Martinez.

United went behind inside the first 50 seconds at the Metropolitano. They created several chances to get back level, but a controversial red card for Leny Yoro hurt their chances. Atletico took advantage of the extra man, and Ademola Lookman sealed the win with 11 minutes left.

The refereeing decisions did not go down well in the United camp. Amad took to Snapchat after the game and wrote: "F*****g disgrace I have no words".

Martinez was even more outspoken in his post-match interview and pointed the finger at director of football Jason Wilcox over the summer transfer business.

"Really poor [performance], really poor," a furious Martinez said. "I have to control myself a lot but sometimes it's a reflection of the mirror of how is our club at the moment. We did a fantastic season last season and now we expect more from the top, from up, to be more players to compete because many, many teams bring many players as well. Atletico have an amazing team and they deserved to win today."

When he was asked if United have a squad good enough for the Champions League, he stuck to his view. "I expect more, honestly. I expect more [investment]. Yeah, 100 per cent. I expect more from our technical director. We have to be honest and also as players we have to do more, but it is also important when you make a strong squad to be ready for this kind of night."

His words will put extra pressure on the summer signings Youri Tielemans, Andrey Santos and Carlos Baleba, who all started in Madrid. The mood in the camp has been under the spotlight lately, and captain Bruno Fernandes' attitude has also drawn criticism.

Tielemans was asked about Martinez's comments and did not want to get into it. "I have no comment on that," he said. "I don't know."

Santos said sorry to the fans who made the trip, and he insisted the squad is still behind the manager. "I just want to say sorry to everyone that has travelled to Spain," he said. "Of course, as I have said before, we want to win every single game. Now is time to work hard and come back with victories."

He then backed Michael Carrick. "Of course, we believe in the manager, we believe in our staff, we believe in our players. Like I said before, we are in a bad moment, but we have to work to change this."

The fallout leaves Carrick with a tense atmosphere ahead of a big weekend. United travel to Elland Road to face rivals Leeds United on Sunday, and anything less than a win could put the coaching staff in real trouble. With signs of disunity showing in the squad, Carrick has to find a way to pull his players together before the season gets out of hand.
