Victor Munoz Rescues Point as Liverpool Held Again by Nottingham Forest

Victor Munoz marked his home debut with a late equaliser as Liverpool were held to a 2-2 draw by Nottingham Forest at Anfield on Saturday, leaving Andoni Iraola still searching for his first win as Reds boss.

Liverpool trailed twice in the match, with Dan Ndoye giving Forest a deserved lead in the first half before Alexander Isak pulled the hosts level on the hour mark. Forest then looked on course for a third straight win at Anfield after Morgan Gibbs-White converted from the penalty spot, but £34.5 million summer signing Munoz had other ideas, firing home a fine equaliser eight minutes from time to spare Liverpool's blushes.

It's now back-to-back draws to start the season for Iraola's side, following last weekend's stoppage-time rescue act at Newcastle. The Liverpool boss will be hoping the imminent arrival of PSG forward Bradley Barcola can give his side the spark they've been missing so far.
